Fast Moving World

1. First text message was in 1992
       - My initial reaction was that I couldn't believe it's only been 20 years since the first text message. It feels weird thinking of not texting because I do it all the time.
       - The changes in today's world involving texting is huge. I've never not texted all day and texting is growing even more because now you can even do it on your laptop.
       - Texting is a big part of my life. I use it everyday all day, except in school.

2. China will soon become the number 1 english speaking country.
       - My initial reaction was no that can't be right but after i remembered how big China is it made more sense but its still weird to think about.
       - The changes to everyone knowing English is a good thing to me. Its easier to connect with the world.
       - I speak English and hardly any spanish

3. Today's learners will have 10 to 14 jobs by the time there 38
       - My initial reaction was that I was shocked that I am predicted to have that many jobs in a short time period.
       - The changes in jobs in adults today is crazy. My mom has had about 4 or 5 different jobs in my life time and the need for something new is growing more and more with each generation. It makes me nervous for how many jobs all be in.
       - I haven't had a real job yet but jobs play a big role in technology. School is my job right now and I use a laptop in every class.
