Globalization
In friday's class we talked about globalization and how it is the connection of the different parts of the world. It results in the expansion in international, cultural, economical, and political activities. Mr. Schick explained it to us by showing us a picture of a KFC and Mcdonalds in Japan. Both restaurants were together in one building. The building was a very Japanese styled building so it was weird seeing a Mcdonalds and a KFC there. Next, Mr. Schick had us check where our shoes and text books and anything else we had were made from. Most of us answered China and there was only one person in the class with an American copy book. It amazes me how a restaurant we use so commonly here can also be used commonly in a place a lot of people in America haven't been and the same goes for all the different Chinese things we have.
